Poor Sweet Caroline

Caroline was sent home from school Tuesday with 102 degree fever. We've gone from 103 to 101 back to 102.... Dr. Minsky checked her ears. Her tubes are on their way out, but the eardrum looked good. (that reminds me, I'm calling the ENT tomorrow) No signs of throat irritation, so he sent us home to wait it out. We called Papa in to help, since daddy just started his new job and is working in Lubbock and I'm buried in tax season.

Today is Wednesday, and she is starting to get her personality back just a little bit. Take a look at my poor sweet baby girl!

Caroline doesn't sit still for anything. She sat on the sofa for 4 hours when we got home. At 5:30, she picked up Getty (her giraffe) and Bunny and climbed into bed for the night. You know she must feel lousy!

Even a cookie couldn't get her off the sofa.

Wednesday!!!!
Broken Fever and a chocolate glazed donuthole later! Boy does she have Papa wrapped around her finger!

Finally..... A blog at last!

Well, its certainly been a while. You can totally blame tax season for interupting the blogging. So.... I've dreaded starting back up, because we've done so many things over the last couple of weeks. To be brief, we rode a carousel, we went to the zoo, we celebrated Aunt Rachelle and Uncle Bryan's birthdays (Pa had a birthday too, but we didn't get to make it to Austin to celebrate).

Here's a a few pics.....

At first we weren't sure....

Finally, mama isn't working and can play!

"Hi Daddy"....

Uncle Bryan turned 33 this weekend, we celebrated at Peter Piper Pizza. Good Pizza, Better Beer and Great Fun for all.

Aren't they precious! I love these girls..... (Ashley, Lauren and Caroline)

Caroline couldn't get enough of this ice cream truck.... Her cousin Lauren was nice enough to drive!

They were all watching, but daddy/Uncle Jas just didn't come through with a prize!

She wasn't quite sure what to think about everything, but she certainly had a good time.

Papa could push, but only if Aunt Noel held her hand

We're getting hot and tired, but held it together for a few more animals.

Labor Day Weekend!

She's almost big enough for her bike. Granny bought her this when I was only pregnant. Its been a long time waiting!
Caroline wanted to help Papa pack his car. She also wanted to go with her!
She's ready to go! Too bad Mama said "No" !
Go Tech! Football with daddy!

Saturday Night

Lauren and Ashley spent Saturday evening with us while Bryan and Rachelle had a night out!

Saturday - Shoppin' with the Girls

Saturday we met Grams and Papa for lunch at Gloria's. After lunch we fed the fish and then the girls went shopping!
Caroline has decided that its more fun to push the stroller rather than to ride in it! Its even more fun for mom and dad (haha).
The fish weren't exactly hungry!
Shopping is FUN!
We (or should I say Caroline) made a little friend!

Dress Up and Tea Party

Mimi came to town Friday to watch Caroline while Jason and I went to see Bob Schneider. Caroline and Mimi went to surprise Lauren and Ashley after school, and then went back to the girls' house for dress up!

Thanks Mimi. We love you!

Tea Party with Ashley, I mean Cinderella!
She's thirsty!
