We had a pretty quiet weekend at home. Jason was out of town on business, so it was me and Caroline for an awfully long time. Grams and Papa came to visit on Friday. On Sunday, Cousin Lauren and Ashley and Aunt Rachelle brought us lunch. Lauren stayed a while and visited while Ashley went to a B-day party.

Here's some pics from the weekend.

Check out those eyes!

The Verdict is Out.....

We've finally decided on a name. Tucker or "Tuck" for short!

He's certainly a cutie!

Tuck went and sought out a nice comfy place to lay. This is a pallet I made in Caroline's room. She slept here while her Grams and Papa were visiting. Tuck thought it was quite comfy.

Hasn't quite got the hang of fetch

Here he is outside in the backyard. He loves it outside.

Caroline's having a nice little chat with Tuck. My guess is she's telling him whose BOSS!

Its been a while, so I thought I would share some of Caroline's latest!

She's talking more and more everyday, she's always looking for new things to learn and do. The latest is play dough, stickers and she's really like to figure out the Wii.

We're totally into stickers these days. And when I say we're into stickers, I mean they go everywhere. In this pic, she's asking for one on her bottom!

"Man, I wish I knew how this worked!"

Oh, I forgot to mention dress up. She's such a girl. Santa brought her a Dora the Explorer dress up kit. This is one of the outfits.

I don't even know what to say. That's my kiddo!

It is with bittersweet emotions, I introduce to you our newest member of the Clark household. Believe it or not, but we bought a puppy this weekend. Our house seemed so empty without Scout. We knew if we wanted to get another dog, it was now (or quite a while from now) since come Summer we will have our hands quite full! We think it will be pretty special for Caroline and baby clark to grow up with a dog.

We found this little guy in the paper and Jason just had to go look. Of course, who can just look. There were 11 puppies in the litter and I couldn't resist. Caroline absolutely didn't know what to think. We all fell in love. He's only 5 weeks old, so we have to wait until Friday to bring him home. He's a purebred Golden Retreiver.

We have yet to name this cute little guy. My choice is Boo as in "To Kill A Mockingbird", Boo Radley. I chose Scout from the book too. Can you tell its one of my favorites? Well, Jas is not quite on board, so the name maybe subject to change. Oh did I mention, Caroline threw out "Boots".... from "Dora the Explorer"!

I hope you enjoy the pics:

Finally, I know. I realize that a lot of time has past since the last posting. Please forgive me! We've had a very interesting last 2 months. For those of you who don't already know, Caroline is going to be a Big Sister (Jason and I are having another baby). I'm approaching the beginning of my 16th week. Unfortunately, this pregnancy isn't as smooth as Caroline's. I've been blessed with what is generally termed "morning sickness". I don't know who named it that, because for me it is "all day sickness". I'd like to say things are starting to look a little better, but everytime I think I've turned the corner, I find myself hovering over the comode.

We're totally excited and can't wait find out what we're having. Jason is already starting to play the name game! I'll certainly keep everyone posted as we have our dr. appointments.

With the good news out of the way, here's the bad news. Over the recent holidays, we had to put our dear sweet Scout down. It was the absolute hardest decision we've ever had to make. As many of you know, Scout was our chocolate lab that thought she was human. She was our first baby. Unfortunately, Scout was born with severe hip dysplasia. After two hip surgeries and 4 years of pain, there wasn't much else we could do for her.

I believe in the deepest of my heart, that Scout is in a much better place. All dogs go to heaven. I know Granny is taking especially good care of her and if I know my Scout Scout she is chasing rabbits and eatin' cheese!

We'll miss you, Scout!

Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas at Mimi and Pa's this year. Mimi and Pa moved into their new home around Thanksgiving, so we broke the house in over Christmas. The whole gang was there.

This is Christmas Morning at Mimi and Pa's. Santa brought her a ball pit (which mommy has done nothing but pick up dang balls all over the house), a baby and some play dough.

Christmas..... Take two!

Christmas at Gram's and Papa's.....

Check out the Jeep!
It took her just a few minutes to get the hang of it. Unfortunately, she's a little to young!
We tried to tell her, we had more presents to open inside.... All she wanted was that Jeep! Life is tough!

Couple more pictures..... Enjoy!

Thanks Grams and Papa...... We love our Jeep!
We couldn't wait to take our cousins' for a spin.
Ash preferred a trike that was too small! Caroline is a dangerous driver!
